Bolton defeats West Ham United 3-1

Johan Elmander scored two goals in the second half to lead Bolton to a 3-1 win over West Ham United. The Wanderers also benefited from an own goal just two minutes after halftime.
For the second consecutive week, Stu Holden started the match at center midfield and played the full 90 minutes.
With the win, Bolton improves its record to one win, one draw, and zero losses on the season. Bolton returns to action this Tuesday when it plays Southampton in League Cup competition. The Wanderers face Birmingham in Premier League action on Sunday, Aug. 29.
