Tottenham defeats Bolton 1-0

A rocket-shot from Tom Huddlestone was the difference in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Bolton on May 1.

Stu Holden has resumed full training with Bolton but was not among the 18 Bolton players dressed for the match. Holden broke his leg in the United States-Holland match on March 3, 2010. Bolton has only one match remaining this season versus Birmingham on May 9.

“It was a good game with both teams going all out to win and it took a wonder goal to separate the teams,” Bolton manager Owen Coyle said. “Even at 1-0 down we kept pressing forward and it’s fair to say that we gave Spurs a game.”
