Bolton manager: Stu will play on Sunday
// May 7th, 2010 // Updates
Bolton manager Owen Coyle has revealed that Stuart Holden will feature for the first time since the beginning of March when Wanderers conclude the Premier League season against Birmingham City on Sunday.
The American international has been back in training for nearly two weeks and after missing out at Tottenham last weekend, Coyle is ready to give him one last opportunity of competitive football before the World Cup finals start in five weeks time.
“He’ll play a part,” said the Bolton boss. “He’s ready to be involved, whether he starts or whether he comes on in the game.
“Stuart has trained now for two weeks and on the back of that I think he’s been named in the provisional squad for the USA for the World Cup and he will be involved on Sunday and I look forward to seeing him at his best.”
