Stu Holden has signed a contract to endorse Nike and the LIVESTRONG brand.
“I’ve worn Nike gear as a member of the US National Team and Nike boots when I played at Clemson,” Stu said. “Nike is a brand that I admire and I’m impressed with the technology of all of their products. I’m happy to have the opportunity to wear the boots and apparel and be a part of the Nike soccer organization”
As part of his agreement, Stu is also a member of the “LIVESTRONG family.” The LIVESTRONG brand was founded by Lance Armstrong who won the Tour de France a record seven times after he survived cancer. Stu lost his father Brian to cancer early in 2009 after a seven-year battle. Before he died, Brian Holden gave Stu his yellow LIVESTRONG bracelet which Stu has not taken off since.
“Being a part of the LIVESTRONG family is very important to me,” Stu said. “I have seen the effects of cancer and I know how hard my dad battled. As a member of the LIVESTRONG family, I look forward to partnering with Lance Armstrong and the LiveSTRONG brand and helping others during a tough time in the their lives.”
