Bolton loses to Liverpool 2-0

Bolton lost to Liverpool 2-0 on Saturday following goals by Dirk Kuyt and Emiliano Insua [match report]. With the loss, Bolton drops to 5 wins, 11 losses, and two ties. The Wanderers have 21 points and currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League, one point above the relegation zone.

Stu Holden did not dress for the match as he is in the final stages of healing an injured leg. Stu will resume training at full speed on Monday.

Bolton’s next match is on Feb. 6 against Fulham, a team that features Holden’s United States National Team teammate Clint Dempsey, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
